A proper lifeline and harness are only ⅔ rds of the equation needed in order to truly be squared away with your fall protection. 

The 3rd (and very essential component) is a proper fall arrest system. 

We’ve worked with Petzl to ensure that this ASAP Fall Arrester Kit* will meet OSHA fall protection regulations and the ANSI Z359.15 Safety Requirements for Single Anchor Lifelines and Fall Arresters standard when used with the proper lifeline.

Your ASAP Kit will come pre-assembled and ready to use and will always include a mobile fall arrester, energy absorber, and the necessary connector(s).

ASAP FALL ARRESTER

The ASAP Fall Arrester, when installed on a lifeline, provides a mobile option that follows the user as they move, whether on an inclined or vertical surface. In case of a shock load or sudden acceleration, they lock onto the lifeline and stop the worker, even if grabbed during the fall. 

ASAP’SORBER (Energy Absorber)

Designed specifically to work with the Petzl ASAP mobile fall arrester, this energy absorber allows the user to work at a distance from the rope as you maneuver around the roof. Equipped with tear-webbing inside a pouch that opens on each end, the absorber is protected from abrasion, while allowing for regular inspection. 

Bm’D CARABINER

This lightweight aluminum, D-shaped carabiner is well suited for connection to equipment such as positioning lanyards. It features a TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system and the sleeve is reinforced for greater front and lateral gate strength. To ensure optimum efficiency it uses the Keylock system to limit the possibility of snagging on anchors, ropes, harnesses, etc.
