This tool is designed for disconnecting Enphase M series and S series microinverters utilizing the Engage cable system, MC4, and H4 solar panel connectors.

The M & S series microinverters are not commonly used these days as Enphase has moved on to the Q series inverters. However, there are thousands of solar systems installed using these inverters which need replacement from time to time. If you find yourself working on a system like this, having this tool will come in quite handy. 

To help make this tool more functional on a daily basis, there are also tabs for disconnecting both MC4 (multi-contact) and H4 (amphenol) solar connectors which are the two most common connections used on solar panels. 

To use the tool you simply insert the two prongs, for whichever disconnection means you are needing, into the holes found on the Engage cable or solar connector. Once pushed into place, rock the connector back and forth and pull gently to disengage.
