Picture this . . . you're at the base of a steep-pitched roof holding on to your lifeline and you look up to the ridge praying you can make it there without slipping half way up. In enters the ASCENSION handled rope clamp. You grab the tail of your lifeline with one hand, slide the clamp on the length of the rope with your other, lean back allowing the lifeline to hold your weight, slide the clamp upward toward the roofline and simultaneously pull yourself up. Just like that, you are ascending to the top of the roof with no effort at all.
