Test plugs are used to check the assembly of a male or female MC4® coupler to ensure the contact is in the correct location within the insulation. These are not designed for electrical output testing, visit our Electrical Testing page for options there. 

If the contact is assembled correctly, the white mark on the test plug will still be visible.
