How does the dual-sealing technology work?

Designed to outlast the roofing material, the dual-sealing technology works by applying a high-strength, permanent, water-proof adhesive membrane around the lags and a secondary pocket around the outer body creating an impenetrable design.

How do you install it?

Simply, locate a roof truss, peel the backing off the adhesive, and lag the anchor to the roof. It is not required to be installed at the ridge, anywhere a truss is located is acceptable. Once the D-ring and cap are reinstalled, the device is ready for inspection. Full instruction manual available for download below.

Is this anchor rated for wind driven rain?

It sure is! This anchor has been third party verified by Intertek to be compliant with TAS-100 for wind driven rain at speeds up to 110 mph. Full report available below.

BUILT-IN INSPECTION SOFTWARE

Per OSHA requirements any installed roof anchor must have a documented inspection before each use. Currently, most anchor manufacturers use a paper tracking system to log each inspection and specify this paper must be kept with the anchor at all times. Can we get real for a minute.......who's honestly doing this?

The Permanent Roof Anchor includes a user-friendly and intuitive tracking system that only requires the use of a cellphone to operate. Each anchor comes equipped with a unique identifying laser-etched QR code on the lid. This takes the user to an open-source, cloud-based system that provides proper installation instructions and a means for logging and referencing each inspection performed on that specific anchor (No special App or login set-up needed). Additionally, this ensures the anchor was compliant with all OSHA requirements at the time of install and provides a method for any future user to confirm the last inspection.

For those not bound by OSHA regulations, such as homeowners, this provides a safe and effective way to inspect the anchor prior to use for your own peace of mind.

Every time the QR code is scanned, the next user will be prompted to log a new inspection into the software. Al inspections are logged and available for review by any user with access to that specific QR code.

In the event that cell service is not available at the time of installation, a back-up paper inspection page is provided in the instruction manual. Simply take a photo of the anchor's unique QR code and then scan the photo with a phone when able to fill in the information gathered from the paper document.
