With its 2 - 5/16 stainless steel lag bolts securing the 6061 aluminum body to the roof with dual sealing technology captures the adhesive sealant for a long-term water-tight bond, this roof anchor will be the only anchor you will want to use. Designed to outlast the roofing material, the dual-sealing technology works by applying a high-strength, permanent, water-proof adhesive membrane around the lags and a secondary pocket around the outer body creating an impenetrable design.

It has a forged zinc plated steel D-ring rated for 5,000 lbs that is UL/ANSI certified and 6 stainless steel 1/4-20 cap screws that secure the body of the Permanent Roof Anchor in place. Simply, find the roof truss, peel the backing off the adhesive, and lag the anchor to the roof. Once the D-ring and cap are reinstalled, the device is ready for inspection. With its sleek design, not only does the Permanent Roof Anchor look great and become almost invisible on the roof, it is also designed to divert all moisture away from the device and keep the penetrations sealed for the life of the roof.

BUILT-IN INSPECTION SOFTWARE

News Flash: Per OSHA requirements any installed roof anchor must have a documented inspection before each use. Currently, most anchor manufacturers use a paper tracking system to log each inspection and specify this paper must be kept with the anchor at all times. Can we get real for a minute.......who's honestly doing this?

The Permanent Roof Anchor includes a user-friendly and intuitive tracking system that only requires the use of a cellphone to operate. Each anchor comes equipped with a unique identifying laser-etched QR code on the lid. This takes the user to an open-source, cloud-based system that provides proper installation instructions and a means for logging and referencing each inspection performed on that specific anchor (No special App or login set-up needed). Additionally, this ensures the anchor was compliant with all OSHA requirements at the time of install and provides a method for any future user to confirm the last inspection.

For those not bound by OSHA regulations, such as homeowners, this provides a safe and effective way to inspect the anchor prior to using it for installing Christmas lights, or cleaning gutters or their solar array.

Every time the QR code is scanned, the next user will be prompted to log a new inspection into the software. Al inspections are logged and available for review by any user with access to that specific QR code.

In the event that cell service is not available at the time of installation, a back-up paper inspection page is provided in the instruction manual. Simply take a photo of the anchor's unique QR code and then scan the photo with a phone when able to fill in the information gathered from the paper document.
